A bit about me

I grew up in the UK just south of the Peak District, surrounded by fields and woods. I spent a lot of my time as a kid running around fields, climbing trees and playing in the river. Spending so much time outside as a kid sparked my love of wild places and shaped my passion for working in the outdoors.

I made the Chamonix valley my home in 2019. It’s where I feel most rooted — surrounded by big alpine landscapes with so many opportunities and a wonderful community. I qualified as an International Mountain Leader in spring, 2025 and can’t quite believe I get to call this my job! I’ve loved meeting so many different people and sharing my passion for the mountains and nature.

My other life

Before becoming an International Mountain Leader, I worked a mix of jobs around the valley, including childcare and restaurant work.

In my free time

I spend most of my time skiing, climbing, hiking, biking and trail running in the mountains. I love sharing long days outside, exploring new terrain and quiet corners of the Alps. When I’m not in the hills, I enjoy evenings at the local climbing wall, and relaxed nights with good people.

Fun fact

I’m learning guitar and play in a traditional Irish music band with friends.

Favorite Alp trail run

The Tour des Fiz — straight from my front door in Servoz, at the lower end of the Chamonix valley. This 30-km loop follows rolling terrain around a spectacular limestone massif, weaving past quiet rivers, wildflower meadows, and charming refuges. It’s the perfect balance of beauty, flow, and adventure.
