Mayrhofen Ultraks

Set in Mayrhofen in the Zillertal Valley of Austria, about two hours southeast of Innsbruck, Mayrhofen Ultraks offers a weekend of alpine trail racing with distances from 7 km to 101 km.
The marquee “Z101” course covers 101 km with 7,600m of elevation gain via high-altitude trails and alpine passes above 3,000m. Other leading routes include a 70 km option with 4,000m of gain and a 50 km course with 3,200m. Shorter formats of 30 km (2,000m) and 14 km (900m) make the event accessible to a variety of runners, while a new 8.5 km long vertical race climbs 1,250m, perfect for racers who love a high intensity event. Youth and ultra-short children’s loops further broaden participation options.
Surrounded by glaciers, ridgelines, and rugged Tyrolean summits, Mayrhofen Ultraks captures the essence of high-mountain running in one of Austria’s most iconic valleys. It’s an event that blends challenge and scenery in equal measure, perfectly placed for runners wanting to explore the heart of the Alps.
