About the race

The Millet Manigod Trail Challenge is a two-day trail running event held in September in the scenic Manigod Valley, based at the Col de Merdassier, midway between Annecy and Megève. With a variety of race formats, the event welcomes runners of all levels, from first-timers to experienced mountain athletes. Distances include a 10 km loop, an 18 km course with over 1,400 meters of climbing, and the demanding 27 km Skyrace du Charvin with 2,200 meters of elevation gain.

For those who prefer vertical efforts, the Kilomètre Vertical packs 1,000 meters of ascent into just under 3 km, while the Moonlight Trail offers a nighttime version of the 10 km course. Kids can take part in the Trail des Marmots, and runners looking for added challenges can combine events with weekend formats like the “Dré dans l’Pentu” or the team-based “Duo du Charvin”. With its mix of accessible and technical routes, the Manigod Trail Challenge offers a mountain racing experience in a classic alpine setting.
