Millet XTrail Courchevel

The Millet XTrail Courchevel offers a rare single-start trail event held in Courchevel Le Praz, located in the Trois Vallées ski region of Savoie, about two hours from Geneva. Mountains rise sharply along the course, and runners will experience early-morning views over Courchevel’s valleys.
Participants set off together before dawn and decide their race distance en route, choosing from 11 km up to the full 66 km course, with each checkpoint offering the option to continue, as long as the runner meets cutoff times.
Runners racing the shorter distances still need to pass time barriers, while those aiming for the longest challenge of 4100m of elevation gain must clear all seven mountain cols to complete the 66 km loop. This creative race format lets participants switch to a shorter route mid-race if needed. They’ll even receive a refund proportional to the distance they complete!
Scenic sections include alpine ridges, glacier views, and trails within the Vanoise National Park. There’s varied terrain and engaging elevation changes. Prize money is awarded for each distance category (11, 22, 33, 44, 55 and 66 km), and finisher medals recognize the distance completed by every participant.
