Saint-Jeoire Trail Festival

The Saint-Jeoire Trail Festival takes place in Saint-Jeoire, Haute-Savoie, just over an hour from Geneva, in the foothills of France’s Faucigny region, which is famous for its cheeses. The event features three distances: 80 km with about 6,000 m of climbing, 30 km with around 3,000 m of gain, and a 13 km vertical race that climbs 1,150 m.
These routes ascend from the village, climb through forest trails, alpine pastures, ridgelines and peaks like the Môle and Brasses, then return via sweeping descents into valleys with lake and mountain vistas. The courses wind through wild, lesser-known trails and pass over exposed ridges that provide broad panoramic views of Mont-Blanc, the Aravis, the Chablais and Lake Geneva.
Set in a region known for its dramatic alpine ridges and rich natural scenery, the Saint-Jeoire Trail Festival combines serious elevation, wild terrain and memorable views. Whether tackling the ultradistance or sampling the shorter formats, runners will find plenty of challenge and panorama in the trails around Saint-Jeoire.
