Trail du Corbier

The Trail du Corbier is a mountain race held in the heart of the Les Sybelles ski area, a little more than two hours due south from Geneva, Switzerland. Starting from the Corbier resort, Trail du Corbier runs through the scenic alpine terrain of the Arvan-Villards range with views of the Aiguilles d’Arves and Mont Charvin.
Saturday’s events include the Kilomètre Vertical de la Pointe, a 5.2 km race with 1,000m of elevation gain, and the Trail Nocturne, a 7.2 km night race with 320m of ascent. The Trail des Pitchounes offers shorter distances for children, ranging from 600m to 2.6 km, depending on age.
Sunday features three races: the Trail de l’Ouillon, a 9 km route with 250m of elevation gain; the Trail du Charvin, a 16 km course with 1,100m of ascent; and the Trail des Sybelles, a 32 km race with 2,100m of elevation gain, available for solo runners or relay teams.
Set among high alpine pastures and ridgelines, the Trail du Corbier offers a scenic mountain experience in a quiet corner of France.
