Close to Chambéry, France and only 30 minutes drive from Annecy, Trail Nivolet Revard has an impressive selection of race distances available.
The full 55km race, which has 2950m of vertical, is a UTMB World Series qualifier race and takes in the long ridge lines above Lac du Bourget, plus forests and waterfalls. This race might not have the high mountain views of the Mont Blanc Massif, but the trails are playful and when you emerge from the forest, the view points are spectacular.
Aside from the ultra distance race, runners can choose from among shorter races, as well, including 26km (with 1300 M of climbing), 14km (with 450 M) and “The Speed Trail, which is 6 km with 240 meters of climbing.
