The mountains, the people, the refuges, the weather, the cows, the vast expanse of earth’s majesty — few things on earth rival the elements that make up the TMB. But the organization, kindness, knowledge, and spirit of RtA and, in particular, our guide, Bruno Yates, pulled all the pieces together into a whole truly greater than the sum of its spectacular parts. No superlatives do it justice. RtA’s Deluxe Tour du Mont Blanc delivered big!
Why
The TMB, in one form or another, has been on my bucket list for 15 years. RtA's adverstising (which I'd seen for years) caught my eye again a few months ago, the timing was perfect, and the rest is history!
Advice
Unless you are an experienced mountain runner or fast hiker, I would say train harder than I did lol! But training aside, you can trust the rest of the tour to the RtA team. Just show up in body and spirit and they'll take care of the rest!
