HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I’m a risk averse person who only runs to make my hubby proud of me (and to do things with my hubby). A Run the Alps guided tour caters to both of our levels, e.g., running from town-to-town versus running the morning, then taking a train to enjoy more time in the next town. Guided by Alistair Crompton and Marion Giraud, I learned running tips and about the culture and nature of the Alps. Al and Marion have inspired me to change how I will pursue caring for our World.
Why
This trip was in collaboration with Marathon Training Academy https://www.marathontrainingacademy.com/ #marathonacademy
By following Trevor and Angie from MTA, I have accomplished more in my life than I would have otherwise.
Advice
DO IT NOW! Life has so much to offer when you're willing to risk being uncomfortable... then finding out your level of comfort can expand and open more doors.
Highlight
2 highlights: The trek to stay overnight at the Obersteinberg Hut (no electricity, carry in and carry out independence); and participating in the Eiger Ultra 51k Trail Run
