A bit about me

I was born in a small town in the heart of the Italian Apennines. For my family, the mountains were not just fun, they were an important resource. I was increasingly attracted to the woods and pastures with breathtaking views, where I spent most of my afternoons. The silence, wilderness and majesty of those places filled my soul with joy. Growing up like this, I understood I was in the right place in the mountains, so I did everything to make my passion my job.

I’m based in the Dolomites. I moved there shortly after graduation. In the winter, I work as a ski instructor and in the summer I work as a trail running and trekking guide.

My other life

I am a qualified building surveyor, but I only worked in that job for a few months. I’d already guessed this might happen during the training, but after those first few months in the office, I was sure that it was impossible for me to do a job wasn’t outdoors.

In my free time

In my free time, I do more or less what I do when I’m not in my free time! I run, I ride my bike on the road or on mountain trails, I climb, I paraglide and, when I really need to rest, I take my old guitar and strum some music.

Fun fact

I was so passionate about the outdoors from a young age that after building a teepee in my backyard I would often dress up as a Native American and dream of lakes and glaciers.

Favorite Alp trail run

Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites. This is a complete journey in the heart of the Dolomites, past lakes, mountain huts, high altitude pastures and rock cathedrals marked by important pieces of history. Simply… wow!
