A bit about me
Born in central Spain, I discovered my love for the mountains later in life, after moving to Catalonia for my studies, where I began practicing outdoor sports. I haven’t stopped since then. After living in several big cities, I eventually moved to a small village in Trentino, northern Italy, to be closer to the mountains.
With a background as a scientist and researcher, I’ve spent the past few years as an independent consultant bringing impact- and community-driven projects to life. I’m particularly passionate about the interplay between human health and the planet’s health, and I love exploring how trail running and other outdoor activities can nurture both, combining adventure with purpose, supporting wellness for everyone, and leaving a positive mark on the world.
In my free time
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me running trails or climbing rocks, at home, or exploring new corners of the world. I also volunteer for environmental causes, read (mostly about mountains and travel; a little monothematic, but coherent), cook, or enjoy coffee with friends.
Fun fact
I started trail running with short jogs in the park, just to stay active on non-climbing days. I knew nothing about trail running at the time. Back then, if someone had told me I’d be running ultras and multi-day mountain races, and working on trail running projects, I wouldn’t have believed it!
Favorite Alp trail run
My favorite trail is the one that reaches the Tre Cime di Lavaredo from Sesto (Sexten) through Val Fiscalina. It’s a lesser-known route to the Tre Cime: after about 1,000 meters of steady climbing through a quiet valley where the peaks remain hidden, the iconic three summits suddenly appear, leaving you speechless!
