Le Bélier

In the Aravis mountain range, west of Chamonix, the village of La Clusaz presents a historic trail event which has been running since the 1980s. The weekend of trail races starts on Friday night with ‘La Montée Sèche’, a short mass start race up to the summit of the Beauregard gondola. The three main distances of 42km, 27km, and 15km can also be combined to make a three day event known as ‘The Super Bélier’ – By the end of the marathon on Sunday you will have seen the Aravis mountains from every angle!
