Mountain Run Grindelwald

This uphill-only race starts from the iconic Swiss mountain town of Grindelwald. While you are working hard running up the 1,111 meter vertical incline, be sure to take some time to look over your shoulder at views of the famous North Face of the Eiger. There are some steep sections on the 7.5km course, especially after the 4km aid station, where the trail climbs 300 meters in under 1km. Upon finishing at the “First” cable car station, you can either opt to hike back down to town, taking in more of the stunning mountain views, or take advantage of the free cable car down to Grindelwald.
