San Salvatore Trail

In the South of Switzerland in the canton of Ticino, this historic race has recently been re-organized after a number of years away. The run starts on the shores of Lake Ceresio and takes runners on a steep vertical course to the summit of San Salvatore. The summit and finish of the race is a renowned panoramic station with many alternative activities, where you can eat and watch the award ceremony before going back down to the valley with the funicular mountain tram or, of course, on foot.
