Organized by the village fête, or celebration committee of Reyvroz, France, the Trail de Reyv’ is a community event in the Chablais hills of Haute-Savoie, a mountainous region of France near the borders with Switzerland and Italy.

The race has courses running almost entirely on trails, forest tracks, and singletrack through rolling terrain, mixed woodland, and the high pastures typical of this corner of the Alps. The Grand Reyv’ is 18km long with 1,250m of climbing and descending, while the Petit Reyv’ covers 10km with 620m of vert. A walking route, the Marche de Reyv’, offers 6km with 350m of vert for those looking to enjoy the terrain at a gentler pace.

Reyvroz sits in the Chablais hills above Thonon-les-Bains, France, around 12km from the shores of Lake Geneva and roughly 45 minutes from Geneva, Switzerland.

The broader Chablais region is known for Abondance, a semi-hard mountain cheese produced in the nearby Vallée d’Abondance since at least the 14th century, when it was served at the papal court of Avignon. The race forms part of the Challenge Running Chablais, a local series of trail events across the area.
