Trail des Hauts Forts

Starting in the ski town of Morzine, in the Chablais mountains of the region of Haute Savoie, this event offers three trail race distances, all ending in the car free ski town of Avoriaz, at 1800m. The mountainous course passes through the beautiful panoramas of the Portes du Soleil ski area, crossing several summits and high passes, or ‘Cols’. The 51km trail takes in the summit of the Hauts-Forts, the highest point in the Chablais mountain range. The Portes du Soleil is famous for its extensive winter ski area, including 650 km of ski runs, but in the summer this area is an attractive destination for runners, walkers and mountain bikers.
