A part of the Alps that is easily my favorite. We went late in the season and the trails were generally quiet. Our overnight stays featured amazing salad bars and lavish breakfasts. Ian did a great job of mentioning the need, perhaps, for microspikes, and they did come in handy on a few occasions. Thanks, Ian!
Why
It was a part of the Alps I’d never been to. Now, it’s my favorite.
Advice
If it’s late in the season, consider packing some microspikes.
Highlight
We had one day with persistent light snow. It was a FUN, but totally safe, adventuresome day.
