This is a great way to find trails and have them all planned out for you on a schedule that fits your plans. The app is really easy to use and works when your phone in in airplane mode. It definitely guided me through the trails. I was able to enjoy the alps on my own time, have great experiences and gorgeous views.
Why
I was going to a wedding in France and wanted to run in the alps on my own time and schedule. I’ve also been curious about the mystique of the Sierre-Zinal race.
Advice
Travel to the less frequented places of the alps.
Highlight
I really enjoyed the early morning coming back from the hut. I had several hours in the shade, saw tons of wild life and enjoyed quiet peaceful hours to myself.
