Classic Italian Dolomites Self-Guided

The Run the Alps Dolomites experience was truly the trip of a lifetime. I went into it with high expectations, and somehow the experience still managed to exceed them.

From the accommodations and incredible mountain huts to the logistics, routes, and support along the way, every detail felt thoughtfully planned. And the Dolomites themselves are almost impossible to put into words. The views were otherworldly, the terrain was challenging in all the best ways, and every day brought something completely different.

I loved that this wasn’t simply a vacation where we happened to run. We covered tough, beautiful terrain, climbed a LOT, experienced the mountains in a way you simply can’t from a car or a tour bus, ate amazing food, and finished each day feeling like we’d truly earned wherever we landed that night.

Run the Alps made it possible for us to focus on the experience instead of worrying about the logistics, which made a huge difference. I came home tired, incredibly grateful, and already wishing I could do it all over again.

An absolute 10/10 experience and easily one of the most memorable adventures of my life. If you’re an adventurous runner who wants to see the Dolomites on foot, I can’t recommend this experience enough.

Why

Because the Dolomites were a bucket list adventure for me and a group of friends decided to make it happen.

Advice

Pull the trigger, it's worth every penny.

Highlight

The entire experience, but probably reaching a hut or two each day along the way to stop and enjoy a lunch or beer.
