Astrid Renet

International Mountain Leader
I am passionate about the outdoors, especially the mountains and rugged terrain. I love participating in trail races and pushing my limits – from cheering on the fastest runners to the very last finishers.
I am also an actress. I started acting in the theater when I was eight years old. When I was 15, I joined a semi-professional theater company. Now, I perform in plays ranging from classical to contemporary, and I also perform on the street.
I am curious, I love reading, devouring good food, and laughing! I enjoy meeting new people and sharing my passion for trail running.
I started trail running in 2018, when I ran the 10k race in the Marathon du Mont Blanc. I kept running, and I became a member of the INOV8 trail running team in 2025.
I worked for ITRA, the International Trail Running Association, for six years.
I regularly compete in trail running races, and have stood on a few podiums: 2nd in La Montagn’hard, in the French Alps in 2019; 1st in La Gypaète, in the French Alps in 2024; 2nd in the Atlas Challenge in Quest, Morocco in 2024; and I got 1st in the Humanitrail, in Swiss Alps in 2025 – my first 100km!
Whether with beginners or experienced runners, I am committed to sharing my passion for trail running. I like to offer advice to help runners progress, and take their running further in terms of mental preparation, nutrition or training. I enjoy supporting trail runners of all levels through the different stages of their practice. I also love to share my knowledge of the historical heritage of the different mountain regions we explore.
