Application

The application period for 2025 Run the Alps Tour Grants is now closed. We’ll be reopening the program later this year for 2026 trips – stay tuned for updates.

When applications reopen here’s what to expect:

To apply for a Run the Alps Tour Grant, you’ll be asked to send an email to tourgrants@runthealps.com with the information requested below.

A short essay will make up the bulk of your application. If writing is a challenge for you, you can submit your essay in video format to the same email address. It doesn’t need to be a polished video, and should be less than 5 minutes. We won’t ask for specific proof of financial need or the barrier(s) you have encountered. Instead, you are welcome to explain them in your application and use supporting examples as you like. We trust that you will be honest in the information you provide.

All applications will be reviewed in confidence by the Tour Grants selection committee, which is made up of two members of the Run the Alps staff and one external advisor. If the committee has any questions about your application they will reach out to you in March. If you are awarded a grant, you’ll be asked to sign our Grant Agreement, which you can find below, outlining our mutual commitments.

Stay tuned for announcements about the 2026 application round — we look forward to hearing from you!
