Olivier Goujon

International Mountain Leader, Runner Physiotherapy Training.
I’m originally from the south of France, where my grandparents introduced me to the mountains at a very young age. Since then, I used mountain biking as an excuse to be in nature. This led me on increasingly longer and more adventurous races, until I moved to Chamonix, and started to devote myself to mountaineering, running and travel. I now live my love of the mountains, spending long outings with my trail running shoes or skis during the winter.
Although I have enjoyed competing in trail running races, I really thrive doing personal projects of journeys that seem beautiful and logical to me. For example, crossing the Alps in skyrunning mode in 2022, or in the opposite direction on skis the following winter! Or, recently, I trail ran across Morocco’s High Atlas mountain range, having traveled there by bike from Chamonix. For me, fast times are not the goal. Instead, I want to know myself better and achieve things I find to be beautiful.
I deeply believe that access to nature and the use of our body and mind through physical exercise are solid foundations for profound happiness. Sharing these elements and seeing the happiness in people’s eyes makes guiding really worthwhile for me.
